FinanceBoston, a real estate investment and advisory company in Boston, has hired Alex Blake as an Associate at the rapidly growing firm.
Alex specializes in raising debt and equity for commercial real estate investors, owners and development clients, covering a broad spectrum of asset classes and risk-return profiles. He also supports the FinanceBoston teams’ underwriting efforts, bringing years of commercial and residential real estate financial modeling experience to the firm.

Previously, Alex spent 7years at Boston Property Ventures (BPV) where he worked his way up to Senior Associate/Financial Controller. At BPV he developed a network of relationships and clients in the Greater Boston area having managed the profitability and liquidity of over $60 million and underwriting over $500 million in development and construction projects.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Property Economics, Valuation and Surveying from Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland. Originally from County Meath, Ireland, he has lived in Boston since 2012.
